Welcome to Munich! Our offers for qualified professionals and young talents in Munich

Enter the world of Munich Onboarding. Here you can experience all the information about our offerings in a series of open after-work events: The Open House is a weekly offering for qualified professionals and young talents with changing themens on work and life in Munich. Here, participants can network, meet friends, and develop their own local community in a safe environment. The Open House takes place once a week in the evening in the Kulturpavillion of the Munich TVET Institut Müchner Volkshochschule (MVHS)
Events on training, qualification and employment and socio-cultural integration; tailored to specific target groups, such as trainees, job seekers, young female professionals and qualified professionals
In-depth information events on living and working in Munich, bundled into free or low-cost information seminars. Employees can register for approximately 60-90 minute information seminars in four topical blocks, based on individual demand. Events cover core topics on sustainable integration, such as:
- Initial orientation + arrival in Munich and the company (e.g. language training, qualification, etc.)
- Company and professional integration (e.g. intercultural training, health at work, etc.)
- Living in Munich: Information on formal and everyday matters during and after immigration (e.g. tax returns, education, training and further education systems, etc.)
- After-work and leisure activities in Munich/Bavaria (e.g. clubs, volunteer work, hobbies, etc.)
Munich offers a wide variety of attractive events, leisure activities, and sights. We make it easier to get an overview and get started in Munich through guided group programs bundled into four thematic blocks:
- Central locations & mobility training
- Presentation of the most popular cultural and leisure events and places, such as museums and cultural events
- Neighborhood orientation and walks in simple German
- Cultural and historical tours
Application support for job and apprenticeship seekers
Events, seminars, and counseling for migrant and other communities on training, qualification, and employment.

All offers listed above are also available specifically for companies and their international employees – free of charge or at low cost. Take advantage of our diverse talent retention programs, to help you retain your employees in Munich and within your company more permanently.

An open after-work format for international professionals and young talent. Each week covers changing topics on working and living in Munich. Participants can connect, find community, and get oriented in a relaxed setting.
